GOFC_participants

Meeting Venue: Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) Area Territoriale della Ricerca Milano 1 Via Alfonso Corti 12, 20133, Milan, Italy

The GOFC/GOLD-Fire Mapping and Monitoring Theme seeks to refine and articulate the international observation requirements and encourage the best possible use of fire products from existing and future satellite observing systems, for fire management, policy decision-making and global change research.

The meeting will focus on the latest updates on Global Wildfire Information Systems, satellite remote sensing of active fires and burnt areas, GHG emissions, calibration and validation of fire products, etc., including strengthening GOFC-GOLD regional network collaborations.
